Do you know…
Do you know why in French grammar some words have the ” accent circomflexe”?
The “accent circomflexe” is usually attainable in french words that have foreign origins eg Latin, Greek or even English. English words like Hostess have an omitted ‘s’ that takes the form of an “accent circomflexe” on the ‘o’ in <Hos>.
Do you also know that Chinese language contains no tenses except on special cases where a sentence in the past tense is considered necessary?
